Cyclogeography

This week I had a fun new project from the New Statesman, to illustrate a triple book review (no less!) on the theme of bicycle couriers in London. Bicycles are difficult to draw, but also fun to draw – and that’s just one of the many reasons why they’re superior to horses.

The books being reviewed were Messengers by Julian Sayarer, What Goes Around by Emily Chappell, and Cyclogeography by Jon Day. And it’s in this week’s New Statesman now!

  1. Great illustration! I love the way the composition and colour use focus the eye on the cyclist.
