Plein Air painting at Kenwood House

Unable to bear the heat and the smell of turpentine any longer, I actually left the studio yesterday, and instead spent the day painting outside Kenwood House, on Hampstead Heath. Here are two of the paintings I made- both gouache on paper. More will probably come, if the weather stays good I get used to being sunburnt in London parks.

  1. How incredible that so many colors be found in a London Park ! How fortunate you were to see them. These paintings are very pretty they speak of an enchanted Spring .
